BSA History Book

The Cherokee Area Council is proud to announce the authoritative history of Chattanooga Boy Scouting!  This comprehensive history comprises a published book and two-gigabyte flash drive with over 1,000 photographs from the last 100 years of Scouting.  The book consists of 156 pages, seven indices, and more than 300 footnotes.  It reveals a never-before-told story of Scouting's history in Chattanooga. 

The book has now been published!

This includes:

• The unearthing of camps previously never known to have existed;
• An original history of the Order of the Arrow lodge that preceded Talidandaganu';
• A list of every Eagle Scout, Wood Badge patrol, Silver Beaver, and Vigil honor member;
• A detailed narrative history of Chattanooga Scouting as early as 1910;
• And much more!
